The jacket of the 1938 first printing in a balloon cloth binding is dark greenish blue. I believe there was a second printing with this jacket. The enlarged jacket used with the Blumenthal format beginning in 1940 is moderate bluish green. These are color designations used by the National Bureau of Standards. The balloon cloth jacket is a shade of blue; the larger dj is a shade of green.

Hello obviously tasteful people,
I'm wondering if anyone has an Of Mice and Men jacket that is a color other than green. There is an image of a blue one on modernlib.com and I'm wondering if it's just an anomaly. I and my curiosity thank you for your input.

I have two copies of Mice and Men. One is green, and the other seems to be dark green. The dark green one is the earliest.
