Ron and Scot,
My copy of 173.1, stated First Edition and listed introduction for page one but lacking an introduction and beginning on page 14, has a gilt torchbearer on the red cloth cover. Page 14 (First page of text of Part One) is on the back of page vii, the last page of the Table of Contents.

Scot, the first printing second state, which consists of a pasted in
introduction, is considered 173.2; correct?
