Scot,

I don't know if this is one you need, but I came across this example of a price change sticker o n one of Joe Hill's books that I scanned about a year-and-half ago.

OH --- that wasn't very clear, was it?

Let me try again:

I need scans of all variations -- including price variations -- of the DJ styes of the B-L period, as discussed the other day. Here's the important parts copied from that discussion:

...........................

I wanted to follow the Toledano model, at least for his DJ1 - DJ 9 (Guide pages 177-179). But I have found three important variations for what he calls Style 1. There's the extremely rare red drop-cap paragraph symbol on the front panels  May 1917- July 1917; "ML" lettered logo on the spine 1917 - 1923/1924; and "Monk Scribe" logo on spine 1923/24 - 1925.  And THOSE I discovered in just an hour of research!!!

I also discovered in the first year of publication two methods of price changes on the spine. The price was printed at the bottom of the spine in the red band: the two price-change variations I found were printed cross-outs with new price printed below WITHIN the red band, and whole red band heavily overprinted in solid ink blot with the new price printed BELOW the red band. (Pictures of it all will appear on the page).

I don't know yet how I'm gonna resolve the naming/numbering problems -- all suggestions more than welcomed!!!

Also I already need better spine/front panel scans than the ones I have for the entire B-L period.  I need scans of all the variations I've already mentioned, plus any other variations in your collections.

.................................................................

THANKS!

Folks,

No one has come forward to help out. I still need these:
