Joe,
To me a price clip is fairly important. Plus, you sometimes need the price to date the DJ. For example, the 1969 first of Joyce's Dubliners. The first DJ has a $2.45 price, not $2.95. If the price is clipped, you can't determine if the DJ is the correct one for the first.

A Fine Dust Jacket with price clip.
A VG Jacket with no price clip.
Of the above, the one  you would want for your collection?
I asked Henry this question,he says"six of one and half a dozen of the other."
If a Fine jacket is price clipped,does this lower the jacket to a VG copy?
