As shown on the ML collecting website, the jacket of the first printing of Dostoyevsky's Crime and Punishment (199) misspells the author as “DOSTOYEVKSY” on the front panel and spine. Crime and Punishment was published in the ML in January 1932 and the inside of the jacket has a fall 1931 list of titles.

The website shows a uniform typographic jacket from 1934 with Dostoyevsky correctly spelled. Does anyone have an earlier jacket with Dostoyevsky correctly spelled? Were later copies of the first printing distributed with corrected jackets?

If you have an early jacket with the author spelled correctly, please let me know and indicate the date of the list of titles inside the jacket by season and year, using the dating key.

Many thanks!
