[ModLib] Bros K jacket

John's posting is fascinating and very helpful. My Giant in the jacket with the buildings on the left has a G6 binding. My copy of the regular ML with this jacket is binding 14. John's copy of the Giant with the buildings on the right is later.

I can't tell if the illustration of fields with the buildings in the distance is a photograph or an artist's illustration or a heavily retouched photograph. It would be interesting to know if the entire image has been flipped left-to-right or if the buildings were cut and pasted leaving the rest of the image untouched.

It appears the book presented by Scott with the buildings on the left does not have an ISBN #. My copy, with the buildings on the right has ISBN 394-60736-8. So buildings on the left is an earlier printing. My copy configuration is G7Aj.

I don't think there's anything wrong with it. My copies of the MLG and also the regular ML edition with this jacket have the buildings on the left. For me the puzzle is the jacket on the website. I can only assume that someone at Random House thought the jacket would look better with the building moved to the other side and had it changed. I'd love to have a copy of the jacket on the website, and wonder if it too was used for both the Bros. K. Giant and regular ML. I'd be interested to hear from anyone who has the jacket as shown on the website with the buildings on the right.
