[ModLib] In the beginning

I've got 14 50 inch shelves+2 shelves in a barrister bookcase( my pride and joy) and am beginning to fill a new case I built a couple weeks ago.? so much to read and so little time.? The nice thing about books is they are very patient.

I also was a teenager when I saw all the new MLs on the bookstore shelf
when I was a teenager in the early 60s.  But I did not start collecting
them until 1978 or 1979 when a librarian friend said to me "You know,
those modern libraries in your den would look great if they were all
placed on one shelf together.  Today  they take up eight shelves!
