We need to face the fact that there are a small
percentage of folks out there who are
anti-social. They don't care about other people,
what they do to other people, and the grief they
cause. In the mind of the anti-social person...
Since other people don't matter, the anti-social
person doesn't need to care. Since other people
don't operate like the anti-social person, they
are of no consequence, and **they deserve what happens to them.**
...and this allows the anti-social person to
perpetrate advance fee frauds, charge for repairs
that were never done, steal identity, bilk old
folks out of their savings, and any number of things.
You can judge for yourself as to whether or not
there is an element of these folks who operate
within the bookselling world, how they regard
other booksellers, and how they regard the customer.
