  How about this project:

  Does anyone have any idea how we can establish the start dates for the 80's faux volumes?
  Many older titles were brought into the series but I can find no indication of when re-publication resumed for those that were.  New titles from around 1977 to 1980 would show first edition info - sometimes with month and year.  And after they switched to the Alcorn/Scudellari/Woodcut/Design it might be possible to pin down older title re-appearances by way of the in-jacket books lists.  But there doesn't seem to be many variations in those lists - so it might not help much.  Currently, my information is no more accurate than this: (The 8888's stand for unknown dates.)
