That's the only way to buy books!!!
The problem now is, all the used stores are going out of business. I long for the days of, Christopher Morley's, Haunted Bookshop.
In San Francisco in the 1940's you had  50 sores., today, you can count them on one hand, if that.

So it looks like there are about 46 titles. The one I have has a number 2
on the bottom. Were all the series numbered?

I'm not real interested in purchasing them at powells or through the
internet.  I am old fashioned. I like strolling through a used book store
or a garage sale and stubling onto a book. This isn't to say that I NEVER
buy used books by mail, but I prefer not to.
