I know of the "complete set" Miller bought for his wife AND the "complete set"of Everyman's Library Liz bought for Richard; she had the books all re-bound in pink bindings!

This has probably been noted before (perhaps many times) but when I was recently re-reading Truman Capote's BREAKFAST AT TIFFANYS in the newest ML edition, on p. 76  I came across this item regarding Holly Golightly:

". . . she bought the complete Modern Library."
