  The 80's faux editions listed first editions this way.  In fact they sometimes include the month of the first edition.

I have the "woodcut" edition of Balzac's Lost Illusions that reads on the copyright page "First Modern Library Edition" and on the next line "1985 printing".
Is this common for ML to denote printings like this?
