Sorry Barry, I can't forward photo copy, as I have no camera. My copy is not the Philco anyway.

I need to identify lucky owners of the Illustrated Alice in Wonderland -- especially copies with the slipcase indicating that it was distributed at the Jan. 1948 Philco convention in Palm Beach.

I have an article on the Illustrated Modern Library coming out in the next issue of Printing History, the journal of the American Printing History Association. This is the journal where I published my first ML article, "The Modern Library Series: Format and Design, 1917-1977", way back in 1979. When I presented the first version of the paper at a recent conference of the American Printing History Association, I used images of the Illustrated Alice and the slipcase downloaded from Dogeared. For the published version, I need super high-quality scans of the slipcase and the front cover of the book showing the acetate jacket.

If you can help, please email me and I'll send the journal's specifications for scans. You will be gratefully acknowledged in the article.

Many thanks,
Barry
