Dreiser & Franklin finds

Hi all,

Wandered into a local used bookstore today and there sat a
VG/VG copy of Dreiser's "Free and Other Stories" (50.3). It
is in binding #5 (the grapes) with a B DJ. This must be a bit
scarce, at least in this binding & DJ, as Henry does not
indicate the "B" DJ in the Guide (only the earlier "b" DJ).
There is a scan of this DJ at Dogeared, however.

Also found, at a different place, a flex copy of Franklin's
"Autobiography" which is peculiar in that the book is a Spring
1935 printing (based on the catalog in the back), but the DJ
is from Spring 1932! This is the correct 1st ed DJ, but on
a book printed 3 years later. I think that is peculiar.

Happy holidays to all!

John K.
