I have the Confucius, and I've seen the Fielding.

Subject: Signed Illustrated Modern Library volumes

Random House sent complimentary copies of the first five
Illustrated Modern Library titles to literary editors and
booksellers in early November 1943. Four of the five
volumes were signed by the artists:

Dostoyevsky, Brothers Karamazov, illustrated by William
  Sharp; Wisdom of Confucius, illustrated by Jeanyee Wong;
Dickens, Pickwick Papers, illustrated by David McKay; and
Fielding, History of Tom Jomes, illustrated by Warren
  Chappell.

Fritz Kredel escaped the chore of signing 500 volumes; it
was thought inappropriate to sign The Holy Bible.

Does anyone have a signed copy of the first Illustrated
Modern Library printing of Brothers Karamazov, Wisdom of
Confucius, Pickwick Papers, or History of Tom Jones? First
printings have the imprint "Modern Library" on the spine of
the binding; all later printings have the
  imprint "Illustrated Modern Library."

  Many thanks,
  Barry
