Yet Again (Charterhouse)

The Richard Howard translation of Charterhouse of Parma got raves in both the 
glossies and literary journals when it came out, as being the new definitive 
translation. The translation work was underwritten by Ben Sonnenberg, the 
founder of the literary journal Grand Street. Here's the New Yorker's Talk of 
the Town report:

It's original to the Modern Library, and is no doubt being used extensively 
in literature classes.
