In a recent e-mail, GOODBOOKS at webtv.net said (in part):

>Some twenty years ago my eldest daughter and I had gone to a major
>book show in San Francisco.
>At that show was a ML copy of The Great Gatsby,a presentation copy from
>Scott to Zelda.
>"To my darling Zelda...etc,etc,etc,"
>Price: $2,600
>I did not buy the book,I would do so today.

Not nearly as big, but my tale of woe:

Seven years ago I saw a copy of Dracula with the bat-wing DJ in a small
shop in Burbank. I didn't buy it because I thought it was too expensive -

I hate myself.
