I think Gatsby is a grail because the author wrote a new (and very wonderful) 
introduction for the ML edition, not anything to do with the DJ, which is 
rather plain, IIRC. It could have been a Sun Dial press edition and still 
garnered the same enthusiasm (and price) among Fitzgerald devotees.
