It seems to be so, since in the book collecting world outside of ML, the 
ratio of DJ/book worth is often 10/1. This is like the craze in 
stamp-collecting in the U.S. over the past 20 years or so; "mint never 
hinged" (MNH) referring to the condition of the glue on the back of 
unused stamps has become more important than the srtwork on the FRONT of 
the stamp.
